The first game I ever played through to the end was Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. I was so enthralled with the story. Finishing Ocarina of Time was a major triumph. So when Twilight Princess was coming out, I was beyond excitement. I had the poster up in my office for about a year before release. Stayed on the sidewalk in front of Target all night to get a Wii so I could play Day 1. My biggest fangirl meltdown EVER.
But I never finished the game. I played a long time & got further than Gamer Son. But close to the end, it struck me that I had seen it all before ? the princess in distress, the fight with Ganon, the arrows of light - yawn. Been there; saved that.
Well I?m playing it again & hoping I?ll make it through to the end this time. We?ll see.
